Joe Zylka

Joe is the Director of Operations for Dogwood Capital, Dogwood Brokerage, Dogwood Management and 12 GCS Construction. He is responsible for the day to day operations of all four business units as well as assisting in their development and implementation of strategic direction.

Joe brings over 25 years of operating experience over multiple products. He started his own company, Zylka Property Management, LLC in 1995, as a Freshman at Baylor University. While studying Real Estate and Finance at Baylor, Joe continued to grow his business and returned to Dallas to continue that growth. Over the last 25 years, Joe has been directly involved in the acquisition, construction and management of over 2000 single-family properties and over 25 million square feet of commercial product.

Over his career, Joe has consistently demonstrated the ability to handle many challenges while maintaining a cool head. Joe has managed all types of commercial properties, has strong administrative skills, a deep knowledge of contracts and property accounting, and excellent communication skills.

He is a member of The National Association of Realtors, The North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors , and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), where he is a credentialed Certified Property Manager (CPM) and an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) recipient. He is also active in the Rockwall School Board, Rockwall Helping Hands and North Texas Food Bank.

Joe, his wife Krissy and their three daughters live in Rockwall, Texas.
